Difference between Print Media and Blogs!
Well first of all acessibility issue is obvious as the blog has the upper hand in this, people who want to access a print publication would need to buy one or say visit the library to use one. But whereas a blog can be accessed at anywhere anytime as long there is a network or wireless access point. A printed publication has limited navigability as users may find it hard to flip thru the pages whereas an electronic publicationsuch as a blog can be searched electronically.
But a printed publication provides easy refererences as its permanent and easy to read as publications nowadays are catered to reader's optimal reading conditions, whereas on a blog its not portable and depending on hardware and software configuration it's readability might not be as good as a printed publication.
Newspapers usually uses complete sentences and also denser number of words comapred to blogs, which bloggers prefer to write in chunks and compartmentalise their thoughts and informations. The approach by the two is also different as a newspaper is more formal, whereas a blog is more casual.
A printed publication only allows passive reading such as reading from the front to the back or perhaps reading faster... however readers reading the blogs may can choose to read some texts and pictures and do so in any order.
There is a target audience for a printed publication, but a blog caters for a global audience. A printed publication uses only distributed materials, its contents cannot be changed but a blog uses downloadable materials which anyone can access.
A print publication is usually carefully edited by a senior editor, a blog is more prone to grammatical errors.
